Assigning a scheme
Use Assign Plan to attach a commission scheme to a user group, branch, or individual for an approved effective period.

Prerequisites
Section titled “Prerequisites”- A reviewed scheme with the correct qualifiers
- The intended group, branch, or individuals
- Approved effective dates
- A review of existing assignments and membership
- Authority to assign the scheme
Assign the scheme
Section titled “Assign the scheme”-
Open Commission > Commission Hub, then open the intended scheme.

Confirm the scheme name, status, qualifiers, and period.

Select Assign Plan.

Choose an assignment method: By Group, By Branch, or Individual.

Select the intended target. Verify current group or branch membership before continuing.

Enter Effective From.
During the review, the interface also offered a recommended next-period choice.

Enter Effective To when the approved design requires an end date. Leave it empty only when the assignment is intentionally open-ended.

Select Apply, then check the scheme, assignment method, target, and dates again.

Select Assign Plan to complete the assignment.

Review Active Assignments, effective dates, and assignment history on the scheme detail page.
Expected result
Section titled “Expected result”The selected target appears with the intended dates. Transactions for assigned people must still satisfy the scheme’s qualifiers and rules before producing a commission result.
Important notes
Section titled “Important notes”- Changes to group or branch membership may alter the effective population.
- A future-dated assignment may not appear as Active yet.
- Assign schemes only within your authorised scope.
- Record approval evidence for assignments that affect financial results.
Troubleshooting
Section titled “Troubleshooting”The intended target is not available
Section titled “The intended target is not available”Check the selected assignment method and current group or branch membership.
The assignment is not Active
Section titled “The assignment is not Active”Review Effective From and Effective To. Confirm that the current date falls within the intended period.
The wrong people are included
Section titled “The wrong people are included”Inspect current membership, the selected target, effective dates, and assignment history. Do not change records until overlap behaviour is understood.
The assignment produces no commission result
Section titled “The assignment produces no commission result”Trace the transaction date and employee identifier, then check the metric, qualifiers, rules, and effective dates.
